These traditional Okinawan island sandals are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Handwoven by skilled craftsmen, they are made from adan, a natural plant fiber native to the region.
At first, the sandals may feel firm, but as you wear them, the material gradually softens and molds to the shape of your feet. The sole starts with a textured surface that becomes increasingly comfortable over time.
The straps are crafted from vintage Japanese pattern-dyed fabric, wrapped around a sturdy core. Each pair is unique—please note that the strap color and pattern may vary slightly due to the use of different fabrics.
