This contemporary basket is handcrafted in Japan using natural wild grape vines.

Each vine is carefully harvested, prepared by hand, and woven by skilled artisans using the traditional random-weave (Midare-ami) technique. Every basket is individually crafted, creating a unique pattern that highlights the natural beauty and character of the vine.

Strong yet lightweight, it is designed for everyday use and will develop a rich, beautiful patina over time. As each basket is handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike.
